Good news, Rother Valley Country Park Railway is open to the public again!
The railway is 835 metres and a dog bone shape it was installed be Cromar White in 2009 but as not run for the last 18 months. The railway reopening on Good Friday after negotiations by Rotherham Council. Back in service will be the RMI 70 ton diesel pulling Cromar White sit astride coaches and a wheelchair coach. With minor jobs still to be done like replacing the roof on the ticket office, all is set for a successful summer if we have one this year.
