Special Carriage

Supplied in gauges from 7¼” to 10¼”.

The frame and bodywork are constructed from steel the folding loading ramps are constructed from aluminium checker plate.

Adjustable ramp supports provide additional support when loading or unloading. The ramps when upright are secured with anti lose fixings. Six tie down loops are fitted for wheelchair or pram securing.

The folding seats are waterproof and the bench seat is furniture grade foam, covered in waterproof PVC material.

Our MKIV steel bogies can be fitted shoe brakes, air or vacuum operated.

The coaches will negotiate 6096mm(20′) radius curves with ease (subject to correct coupling arrangement). Overall length is 2.75M (9’) width 762mm (30″).
